Can't get any fresher than this, these logs were cut this afternoon. They will be cut into staves for making bows.

Save this piece as a draft

whole ash piece

This is from a 10" long round close to the bottom of a 3 foot diameter ash tree. It was cut down because of crown rot. The trunk was spoken for but contractor let me have the stump and a crotch.

this surface is planed smooth but visually it undulates

This is the end of the honey locust crotch. One part of the crotch has a crack developing in it's center.

Size: 18" l x 18" x 20" on the bottom.
